About The Job:

Responsible for the Commercial Chartering department in line with the division’s objectives, revenue budget and strategy. Provides guidance in developing the company’s commercial strategy and developing relationships with targeted clients. Assist VP – Commercial in the development of policies, procedures and standards, smooth, safe and economic operations by organizing operational activity to achieve maximum utilization of resources and equipment in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Forecast upcoming commercial and chartering requirements and establish / maintain mechanisms to quantify and track business-value-delivered.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vessel owners / brokers to secure competitive terms and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Accountable to manage fleet operations teams to ensure that vessel mobilization and chartered vessel’s continuous performance aligns with contractual obligations and project requirements.
  • Assume responsibility for the communication, lock down and monitoring of value realization within Offshore Logistics
  • Review business case for all projects to ensure financial viability and manage and track monthly charges to ensure accuracy of supplier charges and expenses.
  • Advise on savings calculations, business case development, as well as review and assess project business case.
  • Provide regular distributed financial reporting including budgeted and actual expenses, forecasts and financial trend analysis.
  • Collaborate with Offshore Logistics departments to support functions including Finance and Accounting to develop, socialize and implement acceptable commercial allocation mechanisms.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime, Shipping, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in Commercial Offshore Services related to the Oil & Gas industry with at least five years at senior supervisory level.
  • In-depth knowledge in relevant Oil & Gas Business Planning, Offshore Services, commercial management and core marine processes, in addition to relevant regulations with sound knowledge in Oil & Gas production operations.
  • Proficient in English.
