Manager Business Analysis

Synopsis

The BI Manager will contribute to the analytics transformation process of Etihad's Operations division to transform it into a competitive advantage for the company by building reports and dashboards leveraging the vast amounts of data present within the airline. The BI and Reporting Manager will focus on high-quality BI and reporting work for the Operational division of the airline. This individual will be required to liaise and work with multiple units across the division, requiring expert stakeholder management skills. 

Accountabilities

• Drive cost savings and efficiency by developing reports and dashboards that provide the business with insights and equip them with the necessary data for their day-to-day operations.
• Monitor the suite of reports and dashboards and provide monthly reports and actionable insights to the leadership team.
• Research and propose ways to enhance the existing business processes by effectively utilizing advanced analytical solutions.
• Communicate and present insights to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage user acceptance testing and roll-out of new systems and upgrades of the existing ones to ensure delivery of requirements as per the business needs without any severe defects or bugs.

Education & Experience

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or data science.
• 5+ years of relevant experience designing, implementing, and maintaining dashboards.
• Experience with SQL a must.
• Experience using GitHub or similar tools for code management.
• Experience within the aviation/travel industry in the operational areas is preferred.
• Desirable: experience in digital or analytics-related roles in the airline industry.
