In this role, you will ensure availability of traffic rights, as and when required, to support Etihad’s short and long-term operating plans; and support enhancement of the UAE’s pool of traffic rights through coordination with national and international authorities, and other concerned stakeholders.
Accountabilities
Prepare comprehensive analysis and briefs, for lobby visits and consultations, to support EAG’s case for traffic rights.
Analyse draft Air Services Agreements and other aeropolitical documents, to protect and/or enhance the UAE’s and EAG’s interests.
Source, and distribute, critical information related to other countries’ regulatory policies, developments or events, which have a potential bearing on EY’s aeropolitical interests
Represent EAG at air services consultations, relevant regional and global aviation seminars and conferences, as and when required by Line Manager, to project and protect EAG’s interests.
Develop and maintain aeropolitical contacts in order to generate a favourable influence towards EAG’s traffic rights’ requirements.
Provide clarification on aeropolitical issues and queries to all internal EAG entities
Undertake special projects and aeropolitical exercises as may be assigned
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Political Science, International Affairs or equivalent
5 years experience in international relations and/or regulatory matters, with good written and oral communication skills, both in Arabic and English
