Job Description

The Manager of Accounts and Finance is a critical leadership position within any organization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can oversee the financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The Manager will ensure that financial practices are carried out in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee financial strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements and financial management reports.
  • Oversee the organization's budgetary processes, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and legislative developments.
  • Supervise and lead the finance team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide financial analysis and reports to assist in decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to minimize risks.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage annual audit preparations.
  • Play a pivotal role in mergers and acquisitions through financial analysis and due diligence.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial closures.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements for financial efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a financial management role.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar professional certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and management reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial data handling.
  • Outstanding communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of current accounting standards and regulations is essential.
  • Experience with financial risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking capabilities are required.
