As the Global Sales Account Unit Director, you will lead the overarching sales strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will oversee a team of high-performing sales professionals across sectors and geographies, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cybersecurity solutions. Your role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, establishing robust client relationships, and enhancing organizational synergies.
Responsibilities
Define and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with organizational objectives and cybersecurity trends.
Identify and target potential customers to expand the client base and establish new business opportunities.
Cultivate connections with potential leads through diverse communication platforms, building a strong pipeline of prospects.
Comprehend customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to customize product or service solutions accordingly.
Lead the management and prioritization of leads within the sales pipeline, ensuring efficient follow-up and closing.
Conduct impactful sales presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with key stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, acting as a trusted advisor in cybersecurity solutions.
Work in tandem with the sales team to achieve and surpass sales goals, driving collective success.
Provide valuable insights to improve sales strategies, product development, and go-to-market approaches.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, delivery, and channel partners, to develop and execute comprehensive client solutions.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Represent the organization at industry events and forums to enhance visibility, branding, and thought leadership.
Leverage insights from internal business units and external partnerships to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation.
Qualifications
12-15+ years of experience in cybersecurity sales, account management, or business development.
Proven success in leading regional sales teams ; Strong leadership and team management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work across sales, marketing, technical, and channel teams to deliver results.
Outstanding track record of success managing enterprise accounts and opportunities to closure, consistent over-attainment of quotas
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields; MBA preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are desirable but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and partner ecosystems.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales performance analytics.
