LV Cable Electrical Technician (225-731)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated LV Cable Electrical Technician to join our expanding team. Responsibilities

• Install low voltage cables and related electrical components in various settings.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections to ensure cables are in good condition.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to low voltage electrical systems.
• Perform repairs on faulty cables and components ensuring functionality is restored.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers and other technicians on project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Conduct safety tests and inspections on installed cables and electrical systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in cable management.
• Prepare and interpret technical drawings and specifications for installations.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field required.
• Minimum of three years of experience as an LV Cable Electrical Technician.
• Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems and cable management.
• Proficient in using tools and equipment related to electrical maintenance work.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail in diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
• Possess a valid driver's license and willingness to travel for fieldwork.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
