Job Description

As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the smooth functioning of our supply chain and logistics operations. You will be responsible for the organization and management of the movement of goods, ensuring timely delivery and efficient processes. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive attitude to problem-solving. You will work closely with various teams and external partners to coordinate and streamline distribution processes, optimize supply chains, and contribute to effective inventory management. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the entire logistics operations, ensuring seamless processes.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand without overstocking.
  • Develop strategies to streamline shipping and transportation operations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to coordinate logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage necessary documentation.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Resolve any issues related to shipped orders and delivery delays promptly.
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with transportation and logistics providers.
  • Assist in the implementation of logistics processes and technologies.
  • Maintain and update records of all logistics activities and transactions.
  • Liaise with customer service teams to support logistics inquiries and issues.
  • Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and KPIs to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple logistics projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with transportation modes and warehouse management processes.
