Job Description

The Logistics Manager 15N25 is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the comprehensive logistics operations and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all levels. In this role, you will be tasked with managing the supply chain process which includes the acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. Your leadership will not only guarantee smooth logistics operations but also contribute significantly to our financial and customer satisfaction goals. A successful Logistics Manager will have excellent analysis and problem-solving skills and the ability to work with numerous stakeholders to improve logistical procedures. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can balance strategic oversight with operational delivery, employing state-of-the-art technology to advance our logistics capabilities.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Analyze logistical processes and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Manage logistics budgets and oversee inventory, ensuring accuracy and optimal levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to integrate logistics with business systems and processes.
  • Lead and motivate logistics teams to achieve high performance and meet operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards related to transportation and logistics.
  • Utilize data and analytics tools to forecast logistics needs and trends effectively.
  • Oversee safety standards in logistics operations, ensuring a secure working environment.
  • Develop performance metrics and report on supply chain logistics performance and improvements.
  • Negotiate logistics deals and contracts to enhance service delivery and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate training programs for logistics staff to improve skills and expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in logistics software systems and data analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with international logistics regulations and compliance standards.
