Job Description

As a Logistic Coordinator, you will be a pivotal part of our operations team, tasked with ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services. Your role will involve planning, managing, and executing logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery and optimal cost-efficiency. You will coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and customers to resolve any logistical challenges and optimize supply chain processes. Successful candidates will have a knack for problem-solving, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, transporters, and third-party logistics companies.
  • Prepare and review transportation schedules to meet customer delivery needs.
  • Monitor shipments and perform regular status checks to resolve any issues.
  • Implement and maintain effective tracking systems for shipping logistics.
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates and resolve logistical problems.
  • Develop, implement, and manage logistics strategies and planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local, international shipping, and logistics regulations.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify and address inefficiencies in operations.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to synchronize logistics activities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all logistics transactions and reports.
  • Negotiate freight rates and shipping logistics agreements with service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar logistics role.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for handling vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics regulations, and best practices.
