Job Description

The Logistic Coordinator is a pivotal role within our supply chain operations, responsible for ensuring efficient and smooth transportation processes. This position demands keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and strong communication abilities. The Logistic Coordinator will oversee the logistical processes, including planning, implementation, and management of goods' flow and storage, from the point of origin to the point of delivery. This role is crucial in maintaining the balance between cost, efficiency, and performance of logistics functions to ensure timely delivery and continuity in supply chain operations. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments and external partners to facilitate the seamless movement of goods, handle shipping arrangements, and address any logistical issues that arise. As a Logistic Coordinator, you will play a key part in optimizing our logistics network and ensuring customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the logistics operations including shipping and delivery schedules.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with shipping companies and transport providers.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of logistics-related activities and transactions.
  • Monitor product shipping, transportation, and delivery activities for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and execute plans to optimize logistics processes for cost efficiency.
  • Address and resolve any logistical issues and discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to enhance logistics performance.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews of logistics operations and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare regular reports on logistics performance for management review and analysis.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to manage and fulfill order deliveries efficiently.
  • Utilize logistics software for planning and optimizing shipment processes and schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience as a Logistic Coordinator or in a similar logistics role.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills necessary for success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external coordination.
  • Experience in logistics software or transport management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines efficiently.
  • Knowledge of logistics industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols required.
