We are seeking a reliable and experienced Light Vehicle Driver to join our transportation team. As a Light Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and passengers. You will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, demonstrate excellent navigation and driving skills, and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to providing exemplary service. Responsibilities

• Operate and drive light vehicles safely, adhering to traffic rules.
• Conduct regular checks on vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
• Deliver and collect goods or passengers as per scheduled routes.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and records for all trips undertaken.
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean, presentable, and in good condition.
• Report any defects or damage immediately to the supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service and address passenger concerns.
• Plan routes using maps or GPS to reach destinations efficiently.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials or luggage when necessary.
• Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
• Check fuel levels and refill fuel regularly to avoid disruptions.
• Maintain awareness of road safety and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a light vehicle driver.
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations in the area.
• Proficiency in using GPS and other navigation software applications.
• Strong communication skills and an excellent service-oriented approach.
• Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading cargo.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
