Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and basic operational condition of the vehicle daily.
• Adhere strictly to all local driving laws and company safety policies.
• Transport goods and personnel to designated locations safely and punctually.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch to receive instructions regarding pick-ups and deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is fueled, mechanically sound, and equipped with necessary supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers or clients with their needs.
• Keep accurate records of travel times, mileage, and vehicle log reports.
• Plan routes efficiently to avoid traffic and ensure timely arrivals and departures.
• Report incidents, accidents, or vehicle malfunction to management promptly.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and arrange for vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring correct handling of items.
• Stay updated on road conditions, safety regulations, and best driving practices.

Requirements

• Valid and clean driver's license specific to the required vehicle type.
• Proven experience as a light vehicle driver with a solid driving record.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and basic vehicle maintenance.
