We are seeking a reliable Light Vehicle Driver with the license code 10N25 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating light vehicles, including cars and delivery vans, with a keen focus on safety and timely delivery of goods. This role involves transporting goods to various locations within the designated area, ensuring efficient loading and unloading, and maintaining communication with the central dispatch team. The driver will be responsible for inspecting the vehicle regularly to ensure it is in optimal working condition and complies with all relevant traffic and safety regulations. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as this position will occasionally require interaction with clients and customers, ensuring that delivery services maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and items safely to designated locations within scheduled timelines.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the assigned vehicle.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or repairs to management promptly.
• Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and safety standards while driving.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods to prevent damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups for reporting purposes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers to update on delivery status.
• Conduct minor repairs and troubleshooting of the vehicle when necessary.
• Provide excellent service and maintain cordial interactions with all clientele.
• Assist in planning the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
• Prepare and verify documents such as bills of lading and delivery receipts.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with code 10N25 certification or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a light vehicle driver or similar role.
