Responsibilities

• Safely operate light vehicles to transport goods and personnel efficiently.
• Adhere to scheduled routes and timeframes set by the management team.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies to promote road safety.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or violations immediately to supervisors.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and logistics staff for efficient delivery operations.
• Manage loading and unloading of goods in a safe and timely manner.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Provide courteous and professional service to clients and passengers.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and arrange for repairs as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information transported in the vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid light vehicle driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a light driver or in a similar driving role.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic light vehicles efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS devices or maps.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
