Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including SaaS, supplier, licensing, and partnership contracts
- Act as a trusted legal partner to business units including Sales, Technology, Procurement, HR, and Finance
- Provide pragmatic, risk-based legal advice to support commercial decision-making and new initiatives
- Support corporate governance, internal approvals, and maintenance of legal documentation and records
- Contribute to compliance frameworks, policy development, and ongoing regulatory adherence
- Own and enhance contract lifecycle management, templates, and legal tracking processes
- Identify and implement improvements across legal operations, including automation and use of legal tech tools
- Qualified lawyer with 3-6 years' PQE from a recognised jurisdiction (common law preferred)
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts, ideally within tech or SaaS environments
- Background in-house or from a reputable law firm with strong commercial exposure
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and balance legal risk with business objectives
- Experience working in fast-paced or scaling organisations, with a hands-on and adaptable approach
- Exposure to process improvement, legal operations, or efficiency-driven initiatives is highly advantageous
