Job Description

Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project

Mobilization: June 2026

Employment Type: Full-time / Project-Based

The Lead Electrical Engineer will manage electrical site supervision activities, coordinate inspectors, and ensure that all electrical installation works are executed safely and in compliance with project specifications, schedule, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical supervision activities on site
Review electrical installation works, contractor submissions, and technical issues
Monitor compliance with approved drawings, standards, and specifications
Coordinate with mechanical, civil, I&C, and commissioning teams
Supervise electrical inspectors and ensure inspection coverage across key areas
Support issue resolution, progress tracking, and reporting
Ensure adherence to QA/QC and HSE procedures

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
Strong thermal power plant project experience, preferably CCGT
Proven background in electrical construction supervision
Strong coordination and communication skills

Preferred Profile

GCC project experience
Familiarity with power plant electrical systems, substations, and auxiliary systems
