A leading regional financial institution recognized for its commitment to digital transformation and data‑driven innovation. The organization is seeking a seasoned Lead Data Lakehouse Architect to guide the development and governance of its enterprise data platform.

Responsibilities:

• Provide end‑to‑end architectural leadership for the implementation of a modern data lakehouse, ensuring scalability, governance, and performance.
• Design and enforce layered data architecture standards, including modeling conventions, naming rules, metadata structures, and data lineage frameworks.
• Define and maintain standards for data lifecycle management, schema evolution, optimization processes, and structured data layers.
• Lead architectural decision‑making forums and align multiple data squads toward unified design principles and best practices.
• Collaborate with data quality, governance, and platform engineering teams to establish organization‑wide validation and control frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and review processes for engineering teams while developing reusable design patterns.
  
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing large‑scale data architectures using modern lakehouse concepts and advanced modeling principles.
• Strong background in data governance, including metadata standards, lineage frameworks, and quality controls.
• Experience defining and managing structured data layers, schema evolution, data optimization strategies, and modeling patterns.
• Demonstrated leadership in architecture forums and the ability to influence cross‑team decision‑making.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience working across multiple teams in fast‑paced environments.
