Landscape Architect (225-1015)

We are seeking a creative and experienced Landscape Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for designing aesthetically pleasing and sustainable outdoor spaces that align with client needs and preferences. Your work will incorporate environmental stewardship with innovative design solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of plant sciences, ecology, art, and design. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to bring your projects to life, ranging from residential to large-scale public and commercial landscapes. You should possess strong project management skills, from concept through completion, and maintain a keen eye for detail while working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan landscapes considering site conditions and client requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and construction teams for project implementation.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for landscape projects.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments to ensure sustainable and eco-friendly designs.
• Select appropriate materials and plants suitable for specific environments and projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, bid proposals, and project budgets for clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines.

• Utilize advanced software tools for design and visualization of landscape projects.
• Research and implement cutting-edge trends in landscape architecture and environmental design.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant city and state regulations and zoning codes.
• Maintain project documentation including drawings, plans, and logs for future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is required.
• Proven experience as a Landscape Architect with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and 3D modeling tools.
• Strong knowledge of plant sciences, ecology, and environmental stewardship principles.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and project expectations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Valid landscape architecture license and membership in professional organizations preferred.
