Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster educational growth.
• Encourage social interaction and emotional development among kindergarten students.
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Facilitate engaging classroom activities utilizing diverse educational resources.
• Coordinate with parents and guardians to support student learning and development.
• Monitor student progress and evaluate academic performance regularly.
• Instill a love for reading and foundational numeracy skills in young learners.
• Organize and supervise field trips and other experiential learning activities.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and academic performance for each student.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to design and implement school projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent required.
• State certification to teach kindergarten in the applicable region.
• Previous experience teaching kindergarten or preschool-aged children preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with children and adults.
• Ability to create a joyful and enthusiastic learning environment.
• Demonstrated patience and creativity in managing a dynamic classroom.
