Job Description

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's strategic accounts and ensuring the successful management and growth of these relationships. The KAM is responsible for understanding the key technical and business challenges of clients, delivering tailored solutions to help them thrive. Acting as a bridge between the client and the various internal teams, the Key Account Manager must expertly manage and influence multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to effectively devise strategies that offer value to the clients while meeting the company's business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with assigned key client accounts.
  • Identify growth opportunities within accounts through strategic planning and research.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Ensure clients receive prompt and accurate feedback on their inquiries and concerns.
  • Prepare and present reports on account status, risk analysis, and forecasts.
  • Communicate the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders regularly.
  • Develop new business with existing clients to achieve sales quotas and targets.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics, such as sales and client satisfaction rates.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage the customer relationship effectively and maintain accurate data records.
  • Participate in budget and forecast meetings to align resource allocation with client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of sales and negotiation techniques and strategies.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with CRM software and an ability to create sales reports and analyze data.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and business processes.
