Job Description

As a Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success and growth of the company by managing and nurturing relationships with our most significant clients. Your primary focus will be to understand the unique needs of each client, develop strategic account plans, and ensure client satisfaction through exceptional service and support. You will serve as the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client’s needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for client work are met, and help the client succeed by understanding its structure and business model. The Key Account Manager is a strategic thinker with the ability to provide tailored solutions that enhance the client’s business and reinforce the strength of our relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of assigned key clients and their business challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts to ensure future growth.
  • Effectively communicate client needs and expectations within the organization.
  • Devise solutions and strategies to address client pain points and unmet needs.
  • Act as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maximize profit by upselling or cross-selling.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by clients and deal with complaints.
  • Work closely with the product development team to tailor offerings to client specifications.
  • Stay updated with new products and services to provide relevant solutions to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager, or in other customer service roles.
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of market trends.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and navigate complex situations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Experience with CRM software and proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
