Job Description

The Key Account Manager (KAM) role is pivotal in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with a company’s most crucial clients. As a Key Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for key accounts and will be responsible for developing long-term relationships and overseeing the successful delivery of our services. You will act as the liaison between our key clients and internal teams, ensuring that clients' needs are met and exceeded. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of identifying new business opportunities while managing complex accounts. The ideal candidate is results-driven, customer-oriented, and has a proven record of fostering trust and collaborative partnerships.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure client retention.
  • Act as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits for both parties.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within accounts and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Monitor and forecast key account metrics to prepare reports on account status.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends within the industry.
  • Develop trusted adviser relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Attend and actively participate in internal and external meetings with the client and management teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • Proven work experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role.
  • Strong experience in meeting client needs and maturing relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts.
  • Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach and strong sales and customer service skills.
