We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Jr. Test Technician to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the setup and execution of electrical and functional tests on satellite subsystems and components. Your expertise in test procedures and troubleshooting will be essential for ensuring the quality and reliability of our spacecraft.

About This Role:

  • Set up and configure test stations according to engineering procedures and specifications
  • Integrate and connect electronic equipment (e.g., power supplies, signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers) for test execution
  • Prepare test fixtures and adapt them to accommodate various devices under test (DUTs)
  • Execute test procedures meticulously, following detailed instructions and recording all test data accurately
  • Analyze test results, identify anomalies, and perform basic troubleshooting to isolate and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with engineers to investigate and resolve test failures
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements
  • Develop and maintain test documentation and reports
  • Assist in the development and improvement of test procedures and methodologies
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on test procedures and equipment usage


Must Haves:

  • Diploma or Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or a related field
  • 0-4 years of hands-on experience in electrical/electronic test and measurement
  • Proven experience in setting up and operating test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, power supplies)
  • Strong understanding of basic electrical and electronic principles (e.g., circuits, signals, measurements)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures
  • Proficiency in using test equipment software and data acquisition systems
  • Basic knowledge of Python programming language for test automation (preferred)
  • Experience with RF testing techniques and equipment (e.g., network analyzers, signal generators) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety.
