Job Description

A Junior Staffing Specialist plays a critical role in the recruitment team of any organization. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and job specifications.
  • Assist in creating and posting job descriptions on various job boards and platforms.

  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems with candidate information and notes.
  • Schedule interviews and manage the interview process for shortlisted candidates.
  • Provide excellent communication to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in employer branding initiatives to attract potential candidates.
  • Collect feedback from hiring managers after interviews and communicate with candidates.
  • Participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and networking opportunities as needed.
  • Prepare job offer letters and assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Support HR team in other talent acquisition projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in a career in recruitment or human resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with candidates.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing recruitment processes.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices is a plus.
