Jewelry Designer (225-1014)

As a Jewelry Designer, you will bring your artistic talents and technical skills to the creation of stunning and unique pieces of jewelry. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of creativity, and the ability to translate concepts into beautiful and wearable art. Working with a team of skilled artisans, you will take designs from conception through to final production. You'll stay on top of current fashion trends, incorporate customer feedback, and use a variety of materials to innovate in the creation of both traditional and contemporary jewelry pieces. Your work will not only reflect the brand's identity but also push the boundaries of jewelry design with bespoke pieces that delight clients and set trends in the fashion industry.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create unique jewelry designs that appeal to various customer demographics.
• Conduct research on current fashion and jewelry trends to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with clients to develop custom designs tailored to their specific preferences.
• Use hand-drawing skills and CAD software to produce precise design renderings.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and manufacturable.
• Select appropriate materials, such as metals and gemstones, to suit design requirements and customer preferences.
• Revise and refine designs based on client feedback and industry standards.
• Maintain a comprehensive design portfolio showcasing a range of styles and techniques.
• Liaise with suppliers to source high-quality materials for jewelry production.
• Ensure all jewelry designs meet strict quality control standards throughout the production process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with fashion and lifestyle media to promote designs.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders for approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience in jewelry design with a strong portfolio of completed works.
• Proficiency in design software such as Rhino, Adobe Illustrator, or similar tools.
• Exceptional creativity and originality with an ability to conceptualize unique designs.
• Strong understanding of materials, gemstones, and production techniques in jewelry making.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics in design execution.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and communicate effectively with clients.
• Sound knowledge of current trends in jewelry and fashion industries.
