Job Description

As an IT Support Technician at our company, you will be a crucial part of our technical support team, responsible for ensuring seamless and efficient operation of our IT systems. Your role will involve assisting users with various hardware and software issues, performing regular maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting networks and systems to ensure optimal performance. You will be actively engaged in resolving technical problems and working with other IT professionals to enhance overall system efficiency and security. This dynamic role requires you to have excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capability to adapt to new technologies and fast-paced environments.


Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
  • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting network connectivity problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software.
  • Perform scheduled system updates, patches, and regular security backups.
  • Manage and support user account administration, including password resets.
  • Set up and configure IT hardware, including computers, printers, and peripherals.
  • Document technical issues and solutions in a comprehensive and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to enhance current systems and processes.
  • Ensure all IT services and facilities compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Assist in implementing new software applications and ensuring user training.
  • Support remote users with virtual troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to service requests and incident reports.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in an IT support or similar role.
  • Proficient in Windows, macOS environments, and common software applications.
  • Familiarity with network management and basic understanding of LAN/WAN.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a customer-oriented approach to support.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
