IT Support - Network Infrastructure

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Technician with a strong background in BMS and CCTV systems to support and maintain technology infrastructure across our cinemas in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in retail environments, shopping malls, or cinema operations, ensuring the reliability of surveillance systems, building management systems, and IT infrastructure. The candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in fast-paced operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, including IP cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and video management software.
• Monitor and support Building Management Systems (BMS) including HVAC, lighting control, and other integrated building systems.
• Provide IT support for network infrastructure, workstations, and peripherals across retail or commercial facilities.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of surveillance and building systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system integration issues related to CCTV and BMS.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for system installation, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and asset inventories.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
• Respond to system alerts and provide timely technical support for operational issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Technician or ELV/Systems Technician.
• Proven experience working in retail environments, cinemas, or shopping malls.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV systems, IP cameras, NVR/DVR configuration, and video management systems.
• Working knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and related protocols.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, switches, VLANs, PoE).
• Experience with ELV systems such as access control, intercom, or security systems is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to operational issues in a timely manner.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Location

• The role will be based in Abu Dhabi, with support required other cinema branches as needed.
