Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and solving various IT issues for our organization. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for all technical queries and will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and security of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT professionals and teams to ensure that our systems run smoothly, providing high-quality support that exceeds user expectations. Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users by diagnosing software and hardware issues.
  • Manage and maintain company IT hardware such as computers, printers, and network devices.
  • Respond to technical support requests in a timely fashion and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems for end-users.
  • Collaborate with network engineers to identify and resolve network connectivity problems.
  • Create and update documentation for IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Assist with user account management including password resets and account setup.
  • Monitor IT systems performance, performing routine maintenance and updates as required.
  • Conduct IT training sessions for employees to enhance their technical skills and awareness.
  • Ensure the security of IT systems by implementing best practices and regular audits.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support the organization's IT infrastructure outside of business hours.
  • Work closely with other departments to identify and resolve IT-related issues effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in IT support or a related technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems and technical troubleshooting.
  • Experience in managing and configuring network equipment and wireless networks.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Familiarity with IT security practices and experience in protecting systems from threats.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks.
