Job Description

An IT Support Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of an organization's IT infrastructure. This position is responsible for providing excellent support for both hardware and software inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and maximizing the performance of technological systems across the organization. Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to IT support requests via email, phone, and chat.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions with attention to security protocols.
  • Provide potential solutions for repetitive issues encountered by end-users.
  • Document all support activities and technical procedures for future reference.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment for new employees.
  • Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance tasks regularly.
  • Coordinate with vendors for warranty repair services or technical support needs.
  • Contribute to IT projects and initiatives to improve system capabilities.
  • Educate and train staff on new technologies and software applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology tools.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Excellent analytical skills to diagnose and resolve IT problems effectively.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and IT service management tools.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
