We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist for the 15N25 role to join our dynamic team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving all aspects of our IT systems, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively. You will liaise with various departments to address their IT-related needs and offer your expertise in troubleshooting and resolving their issues. Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to internal stakeholders experiencing technical issues.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a range of hardware and software problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware components.
  • Develop and update technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure the optimal performance of IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor and maintain network systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and security.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized hardware and software support.
  • Train users in the effective use of IT resources and technology tools.
  • Perform routine backups and data recovery processes to safeguard system data.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and assess future hardware needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology and support methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems and troubleshooting methods.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication abilities.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
