Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. As an IT Support specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and assistance to our organization’s employees. You will work closely with other IT staff and report to the IT Manager. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware or software issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of computer systems.
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems, updating software as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems effectively, identifying solutions promptly.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications or system enhancements as needed.
  • Set up new user accounts and profiles, ensuring proper system access permissions.
  • Repair and replace equipment or components as necessary to maintain functionality.
  • Assist users by providing documentation and follow-up evaluations as necessary.
  • Log and track inquiries using a ticketing system, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Conduct troubleshooting with users to understand the issues they experience.
  • Prepare new IT equipment for employees and manage the inventory records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience working in IT support or similar technical role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with an aptitude for resolving technical issues.
  • Proficient in Windows and Mac OS environments and common software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and priorities.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including LAN, WAN, and VPN.
