Job Description

As an IT Pre-Sales Executive, you play a pivotal role in the technology sales cycle by collaborating closely with both sales and technical teams to secure new business opportunities. Your primary responsibility is to provide crucial pre-sales support to account executives by understanding client needs and offering tailored technical solutions. This involves engaging directly with clients to demonstrate the value and benefits of our IT products and services. You will conduct product demonstrations, deliver presentations, and provide in-depth technical knowledge, ensuring solutions meet client requirements while maximizing customer satisfaction and business growth. Your expertise in the latest IT technologies and solutions is essential for designing and proposing effective and innovative IT strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and propose appropriate IT solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients.
  • Develop and deliver proposals and presentations that effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Work closely with product development teams to tailor solutions to client needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Provide clients with pre-sales technical assistance and advise on IT solutions.
  • Identify client requirements and objectives and design solutions to meet them.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and technologies to ensure up-to-date solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver statements of work, pricing calculations, and project proposals.
  • Consult with clients to ensure the proposed solutions align with their needs.
  • Support sales team with technical answers and materials during client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
  • Proven experience in a pre-sales, sales, or technical role in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, services, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand client needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and teams.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stay organized under tight deadlines.
