Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified IT Operations & Support Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced technology team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring that all systems operate optimally to support the daily operations of our organization. This position requires a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills and a strong technical background in IT support and operations. The IT Operations & Support Engineer will work closely with other IT staff and departments to troubleshoot systems, manage user accounts, and implement effective IT strategies that align with our business goals.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain network systems to ensure optimal performance at all times.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users in resolving IT issues promptly.
  • Manage user accounts and access controls to ensure network security protocols are adhered to.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software components as needed.
  • Perform system backups and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity and availability.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement efficient technology solutions.
  • Document and maintain IT procedures and processes for easy future reference.
  • Conduct system and network troubleshooting to identify and rectify issues efficiently.
  • Manage and support network servers and technology tools essential for business operations.
  • Ensure adherence to IT compliance standards and data protection regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and software licensing arrangements.
  • Assist in strategic planning for IT infrastructure expansion and upgrades.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support and operations roles.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and security measures.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on various platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively support and train end-users.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing workload efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience in system backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning is required.
