Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to IT help desk tickets and provide solutions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
  • Provide software support and guide users through problem-solving processes.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and application software.
  • Maintain inventory of all IT equipment, software, and licenses accurately.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve IT service processes and policies.
  • Assist in the maintenance of network devices and infrastructure.
  • Document and track issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps efficiently.
  • Conduct user training sessions to enhance IT literacy and self-service.
  • Ensure all support requests are resolved within agreed timelines.
  • Escalate complex issues to relevant teams or vendors when necessary.
  • Onboard new employees with IT equipment and system access.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an IT support role.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of computer networks and network troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.
  • Familiarity with ITSM software and remote support tools is highly desirable.
