Job Description

We are seeking organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Officers to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Inventory Management Officers will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular inventory counts, and monitoring stock levels to ensure timely replenishment. Additionally, they will collaborate with purchasing and production teams to forecast inventory needs and minimize stock shortages. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in inventory management software, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for operational needs.
  • Perform regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with digital records.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory items and manage vendor relationships.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Analyze inventory data and generate reports to track trends, identify issues, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, generate purchase orders, and maintain accurate records.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to forecast inventory needs, plan for upcoming projects, and support business operations.
  • Implement best practices for storage, handling, and distribution of inventory items to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Train and supervise inventory management staff to ensure proper procedures are followed and department goals are met.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
