ABOUT THE ROLE

A leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Consultant to join its growing clinical team. The role focuses on comprehensive adult medical care, inpatient management, and the assessment and treatment of patients with complex medical conditions and comorbidities.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a modern healthcare environment with experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, and multidisciplinary medical teams.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Internal Medicine Consultant will provide comprehensive consultant-level care for adult patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, working closely with medical subspecialists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive consultant-level care for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Lead inpatient rounds, diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge coordination.
• Manage complex comorbidities including diabetes, hypertension, infections, cardiac, and renal conditions.
• Coordinate referrals with subspecialists and support continuity of care across outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Supervise junior doctors and support evidence-based clinical protocols and best practices.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation, medication safety, and compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
