About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Internal Audit Manager – Finance, Treasury, ALM & Credit Risk to lead audit coverage across some of the bank's most critical risk areas. You will deliver high-quality, risk-based audits and provide independent assurance over financial controls, regulatory compliance, and structural risk management frameworks — including ICAAP, ILAAP, and related regulatory reporting processes.

This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of audit, finance, and risk — and one where your expertise will directly shape how Wio manages and monitors its financial resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of risk-based audits covering Finance, Treasury, ALM, Liquidity Risk, IRRBB, Capital Risk, Credit Risk, and related regulatory processes.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of financial controls — including accounting, reconciliation, valuation, and regulatory reporting controls.
• Manage and coach audit team members, ensuring high-quality workpapers, timely delivery, and consistent audit standards across engagements.
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments and continuous monitoring to identify emerging risks and inform the annual audit plan.
• Track, validate, and report on the timely closure of audit and regulatory issues, escalating where necessary.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing independent challenge and advisory support on control frameworks, governance, and risk management matters.
• Engage constructively with senior stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Regulatory functions to drive meaningful control improvements.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification preferred: CIA, CPA, ACCA, FRM, or CFA.
  
  

• Minimum 8 years of experience in banking or financial services — with hands-on exposure (either working in or auditing) across at least two of: Finance, Treasury, ALM, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, IRRBB, or Capital Risk.
• Broader coverage across all the above areas is highly desirable and will strengthen your application.
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end audit engagements, from planning through to issue tracking and closure.
  
  

• Solid understanding of banking regulatory frameworks including Basel III, liquidity and capital requirements.
• Strong grounding in financial reporting standards, particularly IFRS.
• Good working knowledge of ICAAP, ILAAP, and regulatory reporting expectations.
• Familiarity with audit methodologies, risk assessment techniques, and control testing frameworks.
  
  

• Excellent communication skills — written and verbal — with the confidence to challenge senior management constructively.
• Strong leadership and people management skills; able to develop and inspire audit teams.
• Analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns and control gaps.
