Responsibilities

• Source and specify materials, furniture, light fixtures, and accessories for projects.
• Ensure designs conform to building codes and other regulations for safety and functionality.
• Maintain communication with clients, update them on project status, and address concerns.
• Conduct site visits to ensure work is progressing according to plans and specifications.
• Stay current with industry trends and innovations in the field of interior design.
• Utilize design software to create digital models and realistic visualizations of final design.
• Work within allocated budgets and timelines to maximize client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a closely related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working in a professional interior design role.
• Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of design concepts, including layout, color, and lighting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively liaise with clients and teams.
• Strong project management skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards relevant to the field.
