Interior Designer (225-1015)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand design needs, preferences, and budgetary constraints.
• Create initial design concepts and present them to clients for approval.
• Develop detailed design plans using CAD software and other design tools.
• Select and source furniture, fabrics, accessories, and lighting solutions for projects.
• Coordinate with architects and builders to ensure design execution meets specifications.
• Maintain project timelines to ensure design solutions are delivered on schedule.
• Oversee installation phases of projects to ensure design integrity and quality control.
• Stay updated with internal decor trends, materials, and technologies for design innovation.
• Manage budgets, covering both costs of materials and design service fees.
• Visit project sites to evaluate and meet customer expectations and resolve design issues.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with vendors and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience working as an Interior Designer or similar role for at least 3 years.
• Proficient in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, or related tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design projects that display creativity and technical ability.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to clients.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest design trends, materials, and technology in the industry.
