Job Description

The In‑store Sales Executive is a pivotal role within the retail environment, responsible for driving sales and enhancing the customer experience by promoting and selling products directly to consumers in a store setting. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as they enter the store and offer assistance promptly.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products to meet their requirements.
  • Provide detailed information about various products, including features and pricing.
  • Achieve sales targets and quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Handle customer queries and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout at all times.
  • Stay informed about new product arrivals and trends in the industry.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale system.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers to encourage loyalty.
  • Coordinate with the inventory team to restock shelves and replenish products as needed.
  • Report and document any discrepancies or issues with merchandise for further action.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance selling skills.

Requirements

  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
  • Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Proficient in using point of sale systems and handling cash transactions securely.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
