Inspection Engineer

Your Tasks

A-Crane & Lifting Equipment Inspection And Certification

• Execute the responsibility of inspection services and activities of Crane Department as per the scope of work.
• To carry out the Inspection, Testing and Certification of Lifting Equipment, Earth Moving Equipment, PPE, according to TUV SUD Quality and Operation Procedures, Applicable Statutory Requirements, Standards and Code of practice under his authorized scope of inspection.
• To carry out the inspection and testing services in conformance with TUV SUD Middle East Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental Management Systems Procedures (IMS), Methods & Operation Procedure, International and National Standards, Code of Practice, and Applicable Statutory Requirements.
• Awareness and adherence with TUV SUD Middle East Policies, Objectives, Code of Ethics and Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental Management Systems Procedures.
• To maintain good rapport with customers both internal and external as per TUV SUD Middle East Code of Ethics.
• To prepare report / certificate of inspected equipment with relevant inspection records (checklist, timesheet and HSE risk assessment) and submit these records through ICCS system.
• To follow the Health and Safety Procedure while performing inspection on the client site and report any new hazards observed on the work site or office to the Operation Manager and to stop any unsafe activities.
• Improving personal performance and qualifications whenever required and practicing good interpersonal skills during his job assignment.
• To ensure that all inspection activities are carried out as per the requirements of IMS and ISO/IEC 17020 Standard and accreditation requirements.
• Reporting any incompliance during the job assignment to reporting manager.
• To observe hazard free and environmentally friendly working environment.
• Coordinate and complete independently assigned projects.
• Ensure independence, impartiality, integrity, and confidentiality are maintained during all inspection activities
  
  

B– Examination And Certification Of Persons Center Process

• Awareness and adherence of Certification of Persons system policies and procedures.
• Examination services and activities for Certification of Persons as per Certification of persons scope of work.
• Improving personal performance and qualification whenever required and practicing good interpersonal skills
• Following the certification of persons program and examination procedures, re-certification and reset examination, instructions and rules.
• Reporting any incompliance during the assignment.
• Issuing the examination records scores and certificates.
• Any other activities related to the examination division, which are necessary for contributing to the success of exam operation.
  
  

Your Qualifications And Skills

• Mechanical Engg Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Inspection of Lifting Equipment
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Driving License
• Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt and respond effectively
