Imports & Customs Clearance Officer

White Aluminium Enterprises LLC – Commercial Division is currently looking for an Import & Customs Clearance Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in
overseeing and streamlining all import and custom clearance processes, ensuring compliance with UAE customs regulations and authorities.

·       Maintaining schedule of imports shipments.
·       Coordination with Customs Clearance vendors, Shipping Lines and UAE ports & airports for customs clearance of shipments.
·       Communication with Forwarders for raising RFQ and creating comparison sheets for RFQs based on relevant criteria.
·       Raising payment requests to vendors.
·       Internal coordination between departments (Sales, Stores, Finance).
·       Familiarity with vendors working in this segment is a must.

Qualifications and Required Competencies:
·      Bachelor’s degree holder preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and related fields
·      Strong coordination and communication abilities
·       Strong decision-making skills.
·      Time management and problem-solving skills.
·      Skilled in SAP system and Microsoft Excel
·      At least 5yrs experience in Import and custom clearance
