HVAC Technician

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our Engineering team. The role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems across Salayel Hospitality properties, ensuring optimal comfort for guests and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split units, and ventilation systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure efficient system performance
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out corrective repairs
• Monitor temperature control systems and ensure guest comfort at all times
• Respond promptly to HVAC-related complaints and emergency breakdowns
• Maintain logs, checklists, and maintenance records as per hotel SOPs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, energy efficiency guidelines, and local regulations
• Coordinate with Engineering Supervisors and external contractors when required
• Assist during audits, inspections, and annual maintenance shutdowns
• Follow hotel policies, environmental guidelines, and sustainability practices
  
  

• ITI / Diploma in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant technical certification
• Minimum 2–4 years of HVAC experience, preferably in hotels, serviced apartments, or hospitality facilities
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration principles
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to HVAC
• Physically fit and able to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Good communication skills and a guest-service mindset
• UAE experience preferred
