Job Purpose

As the HVAC Supervisor at UAE - Integrated Facility Management, located in Abu Dhabi, you will play a critical role in leading the HVAC team to ensure efficient and effective operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will oversee maintenance activities, coordinate workflow, and uphold high standards of safety and quality to support overall facility performance and client satisfaction.

Roles, Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily HVAC operations, ensuring systems are maintained according to preventive maintenance schedules and industry standards.
• Manage and support the HVAC team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to promote professional growth and accountability.
• Interpret CAD drawings to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC components.
• Collaborate with other departments including BMS and CCTV system teams to ensure integrated facility management goals are met.
• Implement energy management strategies and waste management systems to optimize resource utilization and minimize environmental impact.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders to address operational needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure all HVAC activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility across the team.
• Utilize data and technology fluency to analyze system performance, generate reports, and propose improvements.
  
  

Qualification

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field. Professional certifications or licenses in HVAC systems are highly advantageous.

Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and preventive maintenance practices is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a strong grasp of integrated facility management principles, including Building Management Systems (BMS) and CCTV system operations. Familiarity with safety standards and environmental regulations related to HVAC is expected.

Excellent organizational and planning skills are required to efficiently manage resources and align team efforts with operational goals. The ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD designs is crucial for effective supervision of installation and repair projects.

Experience & Skills

The ideal candidate will have several years of progressive experience in HVAC system maintenance and supervision within a facility management context. Proven expertise in coordinating preventive maintenance schedules and leading specialized teams is essential.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage energy consumption and waste effectively will enhance operational efficiency. Candidates should be adept in utilizing technology and data to monitor equipment performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Communication skills are paramount for fostering collaboration between teams and ensuring customer-focused service delivery. The candidate must demonstrate accountability and leadership capability to uphold professional standards and inspire confidence within the team and towards clients.
