Job Description

The Human Resources Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the effective management and development of the organization's most important asset - its people. The HR Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive and professional HR support and service to managers and staff within the organization. This involves a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and development. The HR Officer contributes to the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy, promoting organizational excellence. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic HR professional with a proactive approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of the employment laws and best HR practices.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Support current and future business needs through development and engagement activities.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management practices.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to support employee development initiatives.
  • Maintain and update employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Provide support and advice to managers and employees on HR-related issues.
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning activities.
  • Analyze employee trends and metrics to develop solutions or programs.
  • Resolve employee relations issues by providing appropriate advice and coaching.
  • Oversee performance appraisal systems and strive for consistency and fairness.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and diverse work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Officer or other HR position with similar responsibilities.
  • Deep knowledge of labor law and HR best practices in various jurisdictions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative teamwork approach.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS, MS Office, and related software tools.
  • Ability to handle data confidentiality and sensitive HR-related information responsibly.
