Job Description

Ensure full compliance with TAQA, ADOSH/ADPHC, and project HSE requirements at site.
Implement and maintain the Project HSE Plan, procedures, risk assessments and PTW requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections, safety observations, audits and toolbox talks, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
Monitor electrical, lifting, excavation, work at height, confined space, scaffolding and other high risk activities.
Lead incident and near miss investigations, identify root causes, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor and control subcontractor HSE performance, ensuring compliance with approved HSE requirements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports, statistics, KPIs and performance updates, and coordinate with the client and project management.

Minimum 5-7 years of relevant UAE HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, power, electrical or utility projects.
Proven experience in power transmission, distribution, substations, electrical networks, and associated civil works.
Experience working on TAQA / Abu Dhabi utility projects.
Strong knowledge of TAQA HSE requirements, ADOSH/ADPHC requirements and UAE HSE legislation.
TAQA or other similar approved HSE Engineer in UAE
NEBOSH IGC
ISO 45001 and 14001 lead Auditor
