HSE Officer

Position : HSE Officer

salary : 8000 - 10000 AED

Location : Abu Dhabi

Experience : Minimum 4 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in line with local and international regulations
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and provide recommendations for prevention
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors
• Monitor and report on HSE performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Conduct emergency response drills and ensure emergency response plans are up to date
• Liaise with government agencies and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with HSE regulations
• Review and approve HSE plans for new projects and ensure HSE requirements are met during project execution
• Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HSE matters
• Participate in HSE committees and meetings to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness
  
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and investigations
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• NEBOSH or equivalent HSE certification is preferred
