Job Description

We are seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to support project HSE activities across major infrastructure and rail projects.

The role focuses on promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with local regulations and project safety standards, and supporting the implementation of health, safety, and environmental procedures on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the HSE Manager in implementing project safety policies and procedures
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety assessments
• Assist in risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems
• Monitor compliance with HSE standards, procedures, and regulations
• Participate in incident investigations and reporting
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and HSE training sessions
• Monitor hazardous materials management and employee exposure risks
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in HSE practices
• Promote a strong safety culture across employees and subcontractors
• Participate in emergency response and act as contact point when required
  
  

• UAE National (mandatory)
• Minimum 1–2 years of HSE experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of incident investigation techniques and safety reporting
• Familiarity with OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 standards
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent qualification
• Minimum IELTS 5.5
• Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations in the UAE
• UAE driving license preferred
