Job Description

The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department's daily operations. This position serves as a point of contact for employees, helping to facilitate communication and ensure the smooth execution of HR activities. The HR Assistant is responsible for a range of tasks including maintaining personnel records, assisting with payroll processing, and providing support for various HR programs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion is essential. Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and databases.
  • Coordinate with HR managers to support HR-related projects and initiatives.
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics for interviews and team meetings.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related documents such as employment contracts.
  • Provide administrative support for employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate resources.
  • Aid in processing payroll and address payroll-related queries effectively.
  • Organize and maintain HR documentation both digitally and in filing systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in conducting research and compiling reports for HR management.
  • Support in organizing employee engagement events and activities.
  • Track and manage employee leave requests and maintain leave balances.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR role or similar administrative position.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
