Job Description

The HR Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources department in various functions such as recruitment, employee relations, data management, and compliance. The position is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple tasks effectively, and possess excellent communication skills. An HR Assistant assists in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department by managing records, providing clerical support, and helping with day-to-day HR functions. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.
  • Prepare and maintain employee records, ensuring accurate data entry and updates.
  • Coordinate and communicate with new hires during the onboarding process.
  • Support the HR team in organizing company events and training sessions.
  • Handle inquiries related to company policies, procedures, and benefits provision.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations by updating HR software and databases.
  • Assist in conducting employee performance evaluations and tracking performance records.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR management and team leads.
  • Assist in resolving any issues related to employee relations and workplace conflicts.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information and records.
  • Update and manage job descriptions and postings on recruitment platforms.
  • Participate in HR projects aimed at improving employee satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR or administrative role preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software required.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are critical for success.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
